RIDE MTNPIG Snowboards

EUR 2025-01-10

Makin’ bacon in any and all terrain on a board that specializes in speed and stability. Designed for high-speed turns and the most aggressive of the Pig series boards, the MTNPIG features split tail tech that allows for a more dynamic turn shape and board flex through turns. Ride the MTNPIG in your standard board length—unlike the rest of the Pig series, we don't suggest sizing down on this model. The half-moon split tail shape helps it sink in deep snow while providing a long effective edge, increasing overall edge hold for sketchy situations. Tapered Linear Quadratic sidecut allows for smooth turn initiation and powerful support through the turn without losing grip. Carbon Slim Walls reduce weight, increase damping, increase energy transfer to enhance response and stability while Carbon-Infused Glass provides extra pop. The MTNPIG is running wild and fast through the mountains, growing fat on powder, and should only be approached by an advanced rider.

Features:
- Tapered Directional Extra Camber
- Groomers/Pow
- Tapered Linear Quadratic Sidecut
- Sintered, Stone Ground Base
- Performance™ Core
- Carbon Slim Walls
- Split Tail
- Double Impact Plates
- Carbon Array 5™

Freeride Snowboards

Freeride snowboards are the perfect boards for touring in untouched deep snow. The backcountry has no limits for you. No matter if you want to shred down the slope and push your board, your bindings and your physique to the limit or if you prefer to slide down comfortably with your family. The focus is on fun, safety for all involved and respect for nature. If you want to take on the much-loved white powder, you need a specially designed board that can be guided smoothly and safely through the thick layers of snow. And that's where the freeride snowboard comes in.

Hard

The flex of a snowboard describes how hard or soft the snowboard is. The right flex depends on your individual ability. Hard snowboards are suitable for professional snowboarders, as they enable freeriding, splitboarding and fast speed on the slopes while offering maximum control and power.

Directional

Directional boards are the classics. They have an asymmetrical shape and usually have different tips and tails in favor of a more generous tip. This improves flotation in deep snow. The longer tip also provides more power for carving. The transfer from you to your board and onto the snow is therefore more direct and significantly more powerful. The sidecut is also designed to provide better forward guidance. A directional board is therefore ideal for all those who like to go off-piste, ride fast, carve and make Vitelli turns their favorite moves.
