STEELY D Snowboard 2024

LIB TECH STEELY D Snowboard

EUR 2024-11-06

Experiments happen when you have a snowboard kitchen… we thought about doing a retro board and then we thought why don’t we make an all new modern classic?! The Steely-D features a deep progressive radius carving sidecut that lays savage trenches. Floaty waist widths that won’t have your toes draggin’ but nimble enough that your turns won’t be laggin’. A powerful camber contour sets up hard charging stability, pop and drive for SFD lines. We put a big gentle entry nose on this thing so it would float all camber and couldn’t resist adding a little soft serve roll in the nose for cigarette boat powder penetration. The tail is tight and ready when you want to flick the switch. We kept the art simple and subtle so the shape does the talking but there is a little Quincy Quigg mind melter lurking in the dark.

LIB TECH

Freeride Snowboards

Freeride snowboards are the perfect boards for touring in untouched deep snow. The backcountry has no limits for you. No matter if you want to shred down the slope and push your board, your bindings and your physique to the limit or if you prefer to slide down comfortably with your family. The focus is on fun, safety for all involved and respect for nature. If you want to take on the much-loved white powder, you need a specially designed board that can be guided smoothly and safely through the thick layers of snow. And that's where the freeride snowboard comes in.

Medium

The flex of a snowboard describes how hard or soft the snowboard is. The right flex depends on your individual ability. Medium snowboards are suitable for advanced snowboarders as they offer more support and are suitable for all piste conditions. They are in the golden mean between forgiving and aggressive. This gives them a certain hardness that controls the edges when carving, but they are not too stiff for freestyle tricks and slopes. In short: they are perfect for all-mountain adventures.

Directional

Directional boards are the classics. They have an asymmetrical shape and usually have different tips and tails in favor of a more generous tip. This improves flotation in deep snow. The longer tip also provides more power for carving. The transfer from you to your board and onto the snow is therefore more direct and significantly more powerful. The sidecut is also designed to provide better forward guidance. A directional board is therefore ideal for all those who like to go off-piste, ride fast, carve and make Vitelli turns their favorite moves.
