This standard brake is suitable for almost all K2 skates since 1999. It includes a brake and mounting screws. The brake is often the most important thing to guarantee safety while driving and yet often the first to be worn out. This is because the brake block is a wearing part and usually the first element, which needs to be replaced on the skates. The stoppers are made of polyurethane, which is a hard plastic. The advantage compared to rubber is the much better abrasion property and high compressive strength of polyurethane. To replace the brake you just need to loosen a screw in the brake block. Most block brakes are universal, so most of the block brake systems fit skates. When replacing the stoppers (brake pads), make sure that the brakes are not already completely worn out, as this puts you at risk of having to replace the entire system instead of just the brake pad.
