K2 BROADCAST WIDE Snowboard

EUR 2024-09-15
Backcountry kickers, side hits, fresh slopes – the K2 Broadcast is there for you, no matter where you take it. Built with versatility in mind, this directional legacy board is a favorite among K2 riders.

At the heart of the Broadcast is the BAP core, made from bamboo, aspen and paulownia – sustainably harvested to provide a supple feel and zippy flexibility; these woods stand the test of time. The combination camber profile adds some rocker to the nose and tail for a predictable feel in deep snow and smooth butters.

We cover the core with ICG™ 10 Biax fiberglass with carbon stringers from nose to tail for high-speed stability and edge hold on uneven terrain. We add three millimeters of taper for a smooth ride that guides you through your turns with silky precision.

Features:
- BAP Core: We’ve blended three species of renewable timber to assemble a core that’s strong, lightweight, and designed to enhance dampening without the addition of other materials.
- ICG™ 10 Glass With Carbon: Integrating Carbon Fiber stringers that run the length of the board into our fiberglass increases the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.
- Sintered 4000 Base: Our Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
- 2 x 4 Insert Binding Mounting: 2x4 Insert packs allow for secure binding mounting while optimizing stance-width options.

All Mountain

No matter if slope, backcountry or kicker line, the All Mountain is a true all-rounder. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for beginners who want to find their favorite territory in the snow. However, all others who simply love to be multifunctional and flexible are perfectly equipped with an all mountain. All mountain snowboards combine the strengths of all other snowboard types. They are a mixture of stable and flexible, making them just as suitable for fast runs on the trail as for natural jumps in the pipe.

Medium - Hard

The flex of a snowboard describes how hard or soft the snowboard is. The right flex depends on your individual ability. Medium hard snowboards lie exactly between medium and hard. On the one hand, the board forgives small mistakes, but on the other hand, it offers you maximum control and power to speed down the slopes.

Directional

Directional boards are the classics. They have an asymmetrical shape and usually have different tips and tails in favor of a more generous tip. This improves flotation in deep snow. The longer tip also provides more power for carving. The transfer from you to your board and onto the snow is therefore more direct and significantly more powerful. The sidecut is also designed to provide better forward guidance. A directional board is therefore ideal for all those who like to go off-piste, ride fast, carve and make Vitelli turns their favorite moves.
