Our new STRIKE features once more a super intuitive pumping with a certain flexibility that makes it easy to start planing without having to expend a lot of energy or learn a special technique. This STRIKE responds to pumping with immediate power.
We’ve worked on the wing’s balance and aerodynamics to ensure exceptional and superior performance, while maintaining control and precision. This new STRIKE offers an unrivalled smoothness of traction that makes it possible to ride effortlessly, as if using a smaller, very light wing.
The STRIKE’s control throughout the wind range is impressive, allowing you to easily handle gusts. For those who love speed, the wing provides a new “Going Forward” feeling that unlocks thanks to an impressive forward traction delivering fantastic horizontal acceleration.
In the low end, it never seems to suffer from air holes or heading winds, maintaining a constant glide and exceptional upwind abilities.
Thanks to its stiffness, accelerations, and massive pop and hangtime, the STRIKE will also have you hooked on freestyle. For your rotations, the wing turns easily on its own, allowing you to land all your tricks and try out new ones.

- Design: The design of the STRIKE has been entirely revised. The central strut is now completely straight, which allows us to better control its deformation and possible twisting, while reducing drag. As a result, the infill is a bit lower and deforms less, and we’ve extended it almost all the way to the back. Our innovative Load Diffuser is reduced for weight gain, especially during freefly.
We’ve also added dihedral angle to improve stability and keep the wingtips out of the water when pumping and riding. The new leading and trailing edge tensions as well as a refined radial cut help keep the profile smooth and stable for incredible performance and control.
The accurate panel layout, precise load management and staggered seams continue to bring exceptional control of the profile, especially in the high end. The use of HITEX on the inflatable structure and TECHNOFORCE™ 52g and 66g on the canopy offer great resistance to elongation, and therefore greater durability and performances. The materials are also perfectly distributed to account for the different tensions, high pressures, and weight distribution in each specific area.
Small radial cuts are implemented on the wingtips and on the back of the strut to spread tensions. Aligning the fibre exactly along the load paths means that stretch can be controlled to a never-before-seen level on a wing. Located on the back of the strut, our Load Diffuser made of overlapping panels of hard Mylar and Dacron further helps maintaining the profile sleek and efficient, leading to the ultimate stability, performances, and longevity.
Thanks to this Sail Engineering and design work, the new STRIKE is an ideal compromise of performance, control, and smoothness. The wing feels stiff enough for any rider to perform and stay in control, but remains at the same time very progressive, offering a gentle and swift forward traction.
- Handles: The new STRIKE is fitted with our new interchangeable handle system. Soft, hybrid or rigid handles, you now get to customize handles at your preference.
- HITEX: To meet the specific needs of the development of wings and kites, and to offer a high-performance and durable product without using inaccessible materials, F-ONE has developed HITEX, a new high tenacity polyester. Available in 158g, and exclusively for F-ONE in 178g, this new material is incredibly resistant to elongation and increases the durability of wings and kites.
HITEX is an innovative, high tenacity polyester fiber with an enhanced high-quality weaving and coating that increases the fabrics’ resistance. The 178g is a new weight and perfectly matches the needs of the center strut and center of its leading edge. The lighter 158g is used in the leading edge tips.
Used throughout the inflatable structure of the wings and kites and designed to handle the high pressures when inflating, HITEX offers performance and resistance. Thanks to extensive Sail Engineering work, the R&D team has placed each weight of HITEX in different areas allowing absolute control of the shape session after session.
- SAIL ENGINEERING: Sail engineering is the science of controlling our design and its behavior while flying. These features have been created with one goal in mind: Mastering the kite’s loads to maintain the desired shape for the longest time.
- TECHNOFORCE: TEIJIN’s TECHNOFORCE™ is the most reliable high density polyester fabric. Its tear-stopping structure using thin and high tension yarn makes the fabric ultra-durable.
- REACTOR VALVE: The reactor inflation valve offers a high flow connection that twist locks the pump hose to the kite for an easy and super-fast inflation and deflation at the push of a button.
- PRE LOADED CANOPY: From the beginning, our wings have had a unique canopy tension that can be compared to that of a harden up windsurfing rig. Our wings are therefore “pre-tensioned” and made to adapt. This ideal tension of the trailing edge when riding guarantees much better performances upwind and in light winds.
- LOAD DIFFUSER STRIKE: Located on the back of the strut, our innovative Load Diffuser made of overlapping panels of hard Mylar and Dacron further helps maintaining the profile sleek and efficient, leading to the ultimate stability, performances, and longevity.

- STRIKE VALVES: The wing features two highly efficient inflation valves: one on the central strut and one on the leading edge. These two areas of the wing face different forces, and thus require two different pressure recommendations. As a result, the central strut is thinner in diameter and gains in rigidity thanks to its independent valve that allows for a better control of its pressure.
- STRIKE KEVLAR REINFORCEMENTS: The wingtips are protected with abrasion-resistant Kevlar® fabric reinforcements.
- INTERCHANGEABLE WING HANDLES SYSTEM: In 2024, all our wings are fitted with our new interchangeable handle system. Whether you’re looking for a light and comfortable setup with soft handles, a more direct and aggressive ride with hard handles or something in between with our innovative hybrid handles, we’ve got you covered.
Wings come with soft handles pre-installed, but swapping a handle set between wings is quick and easy thanks to our screwless setup.
