WHITESPACE AMF PARK TWIN Snowboard black

EUR 2024-09-15

We've made tweaks to give our AMF Park Twin an even better riding experience. A bit wider for added stability and volume, more nose and tail to add more control during landings, and a reduction in running length to improve speed - what you get is a buttery smooth board with ample pop and control. Here's what you need to know.

New:
- Reduced Running Length:Just like skinny tires are faster than wider ones - we reduced the running length to make this board even faster. The results - better speed performance and transition from edge to edge.
- Increased Sidecut: We increased our overall sidecut to provide more stability and control for hitting rails and jumps.
- Increased Nose and Tail Length: More nose and tail to provide more stability and control in landings.

Features:
- Shape: Progressive Twin
- Terrain: Park
- Core: Poplar + Paulownia - We upgraded our core profile reducing overall weight and improving camber for a dynamic and responsive ride.
- Camber: Hybrid Camber - We re-designed our hybrid camber to give you more control on rails and landings without sacrificing the response and power of a cambered board. We adjusted our inserts until we found the perfect location for maximum ollie power, stability to land, and confidence to lock into rails.
- Resin: Plant Based Bio-Resin - An upgraded resin provides an enhanced performance while being
sourced from plant based materials.
- Fiberglass (TOP): 30° Tri-Axial UDW (Ultra Dense Weave) - To deliver a better park riding experience we used a denser fiberglass with a 30° weave to maximize snap and consistent flex throughout the board.
- Fiberglass (BOTTOM): 30° Tri-Axial UDW (Ultra Dense Weave)
- Sidewalls: Thermoplastic ABS - Increased dampening support with a high impact resistance all from a material that is recyclable.
- Topsheet: Matte Topsheet
- Base: Sintered Base - For boards that go holy sh*t fast.
- Graphics: Water Based Inks - Looking towards the future we invested in water based inks to reduce pollutants in the development of our boards.
- Board Flex: 5

Freestyle

Freestyle snowboards are usually designed softer for boxing over rails or kicking in fun parks. They are also slightly shorter in length, which makes them suitable for beginners. For those who like to ride big kickers, freestyle boards with a higher degree of hardness offer more control, but require advanced riding skills. Mostly, freestyle boards are offered in a twin shape. Tip and tail are identical and the bindings are positioned exactly in the middle, so that backward and forward riding are equally well possible.

Medium

The flex of a snowboard describes how hard or soft the snowboard is. The right flex depends on your individual ability. Medium snowboards are suitable for advanced snowboarders as they offer more support and are suitable for all piste conditions. They are in the golden mean between forgiving and aggressive. This gives them a certain hardness that controls the edges when carving, but they are not too stiff for freestyle tricks and slopes. In short: they are perfect for all-mountain adventures.
